The David Jones exhibition on the store and the family’s associations to Strathfield was held last year and I did a couple of talks to accompany the exhibition.
The City of Canada Bay Heritage Society have asked me to speak on this subject at their meeting next Saturday 4 October 2025, which opens at 1.30pm for a 2pm start. The venue is the City of Canada Bay Museum, 1 Bent Street Concord. This is a free event with light refreshments. This is a general invitation, so please turn up if you want to hear the talk, either for the first time or because you enjoyed it last year.
