Mayor of Strathfield 1984-1985
Rodney Rimes served on Strathfield Council from 1981 to 1991. He was elected to Council at an extraordinary election on 19 September 1981.
He was elected as Mayor in 1985, which was the centenary year of Strathfield Council.
Rimes represented the Australian Labor Party. Rimes recorded an oral history transcript in 1993.
