A new historical society has been established to cover the Strathfield and Homebush districts. The Strathfield-Homebush District Historical Society website is located at www.strathfieldhomebushhistory.org and will have information relating to the Society eg newsletters, how to join, access to membership resources etc.
The primary objective for forming a new society is to capture history, which is disappearing in the Strathfield and Homebush districts due to development and demographic change.
The focus of the new Society is to collect and/or prepare oral histories, photographs, documents etc as well as encourage local interest in history and heritage.
