The above photo was from an article in the West Australian in 1938 about the ‘Sydney Cyclone’ that caused significant damage across Sydney including destruction of unit blocks. The photograph featured the Crossways Hotel at Strathfield South and an adjacent shop. This shop is now a Council car park on Homebush Road (then called Jersey Street).
