Nipper Street Homebush is a relatively new street in Homebush, which runs parallel to Columbia Lane and exits onto Parramatta Road. It is located near the site of the former EMI/HMV record factory in Homebush.

Nipper St was named after the famous ‘His Masters Voice’ dog, and nearby laneway Gramophone Ln, after the Columbia Gramophone studios that recorded the voices of countless Australian luminaries. For almost three decades from 1926 to 1954, stories were captured and collected at Columbia Gramophone’s recording studios.
Nipper Street has been developed into high rise units. A small area of open space is dedicated for playgrounds and outdoor recreation. This area is themed with references to its musical past. There is a thematic use of images of Nipper, the EMI/HMV Logo, on signs. There are also historic boards which tells some of the history of the site.
