Harry Neville Kite (1849-1934) was a member of the first Homebush Council which was elected in 1906. He served on Homebush Council as an Alderman for four successive terms: 1906-1908, 1908-1911, 1911-1914, 1914-1917.
Kite was elected Mayor of Homebush for the years 1906-07, 1907-08, 1908-1909 and 1911-12.
Kite was born in England and migrated to Australia, where he married Annie Cutler (1854-1923) in 1874 in Sydney. Kite was a timber merchant and operated the timber business, Kite and Price (with John Price) on Parramatta Road Homebush.
