The Strathfield Town Hall centenary exhibition is being shown until 10 December 2023 at Strathfield Library Ironbark Gallery, 65-67 Rochester Street Homebush during Library opening hours. Entry is free.
The exhibition covers a 100 years of activities and events in the Strathfield Town Hall since its opening in 1923 including:
- Elections
- Political campaigns
- Weddings
- Dances and Social Events
- Citizenship ceremonies
- World War II
- Art shows and performance
- Mayoral Balls and Significant Anniversary celebrations.
This exhibition was organised by Strathfield Council in collaboration with the Strathfield-Homebush District Historical Society.
