A talk will be given by Dr Paul Irish as part of Strathfield Council’s National Reconciliation Week celebrations.
Paul has been collaboratively researching Sydney’s Aboriginal history for many years with members of the La Perouse Aboriginal Community and is also the author of the 2017 book ‘Hidden In Plain View: The Aboriginal People of Coastal Sydney.’ (Winner of the 2018 NSW Premiers History Award for Community and Regional History). Paul has also researched the Aboriginal history of the Cooks River and is an experienced archaeologist.
The talk will be held at 7pm on Thursday 30th May 2024, Strathfield Council Library & Innovation Hub, 65-67 Rochester Street Homebush
