Rebuilding of Strathfield Station 1927

This photo show the reconstruction of Strathfield Rail Station in 1927. The expansion of the railway involved the acquisition and demolition of prop ties such as ‘Silwood’. Strathfield Square was developed from surplus land on the southern side of the railway station.
