Many people remember and ask about the Grogan house which was located on the corner of Homebush Road and Redmyre Road Strathfield.
The house was called ‘Douglas’ and was demolished in 1995.

I notice that you have been recently researching properties in Homebush Road and I wonder if you could possibly assist me in my search for information regarding 33 Homebush Rd Strathfield.
I lived in a property that was accessed by a driveway down the side of said property in the 1960s. It was a 3 bedroom bungalow and it appears from local records that the land belonging to 33 Homebush Rd was subdivided in the 1950s.
I have searched old maps and records and can’t find any trace of the bungalow.
