Vale Mary Farr

Mary Florence Farr died recently at age 91 years.  Mrs Farr was elected as an Alderman at a by-election held on 19 September 1981 to replace Aldermen Jordan and Consadine.  She contested the September 1983 election and was re-elected.  In October 1983, Alderman Farr was elected as Deputy Mayor and she served for year. She served as an Alderman until the 1987 election. 

Mary Farr lived in Gelling Avenue Strathfield but more recently lived in Avalon.  She was married to Ron Farr (deceased) and the mother of Robert and Trudi, grandmother and great-grandmother.
