The above photo of Burlington Road Service Station was taken in 2004. This service station offered driveway service and auto repairs.
This site is no longer a service station and has been converted into a cafe and fruit shop.
In the 1950s, the service station was once operated by Don Trotter. This ad appeared in a local Strathfield paper in the 1950s as the “Trotter-In”.

I believe the name CP Burlington came from the two owners, Colin and Philip, with Burlington obviously being where it was located.
My grandfather often helped out with the driveway service post his retirement.
There was also a Mechanic, Elvis who worked there for a number of years.
