This advertisement from Building Magazine (Vol. 67 no. 399 November 24 1940) features an image of 52 Llandilo Avenue Strathfield, a two storey brick interwar Functionalist style house. This house was built on Lot B, land subdivided from ‘Dunrobbin’ at 54 Llandilo Avenue. 52 Llandilo Avenue was the home of Allan Manning Fozzard and his wife Dorothy Clara Fozzard from 1938 to 1970, when it was sold for $55,000. This brick house of nine rooms was approved for building in August 1938 at an estimated building cost of £2000.
